Kayla's Playground, located within the scenic 38 acres of Franklin Woods Nature Center in Franklin, Wisconsin, is an all-inclusive and accessible playground designed for families of all abilities. Inspired by the life of Kayla Runte, the playground serves as a foundation for teaching valuable life lessons of compassion, patience, and acceptance through play.
Established by Kayla's Krew following her passing in 2012, the playground was built in just nine days with the help of over 1,500 volunteers and officially opened on October 9, 2015. The mission of Kayla's Krew is to create a common ground for social skill enrichment, friendship formation, and peer advocacy, fostering an inclusive community that embraces all abilities.

We loved this playground, it's amazing that it's inclusive and accessible. Our toddler enjoyed all of the fun toddler activities like the swings and the boat. I highly recommend this playground!

Been here a few time as a family and few other times as a play date hang out. This is an amazing park to go to. There's trails, play ground equipment for all ages. Highly recommend
