He is board certified and a member of the National Committee for Quality Assurance and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Aleman earned her degree in medicine from Loyola University - Stritch School of Medicine, Chicago, in 1997, and completed her residency at Loyola University Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine and has a special interest in women's health.
