My job is rewarding in many ways. First and foremost, there’s you, my patient. You’re more than a diagnosis to me, and the best part of my job is getting to know you on a personal level. I also get to work with a great team of physicians on your behalf. Together, we look closely at your orthopedic issues and are often able to fix them completely. It’s very satisfying work. My goal in orthopedics is to get you back to enjoying your usual activities. When I’m not at work, the activities that keep me busy include running, playing softball, bowling and camping.

I specialize in orthopedic care, yet for all patients no matter their issues, I feel there are three components I bring that are key in providing every individual with treatment: always being accessible, ensuring a positive atmosphere, and delivering effective care.

Establishing and maintaining a rapport with my patients is an important part of my practice. I always put my patients’ needs as the top priority and seek the best possible treatment for them. I specialize in musculoskeletal care because I want to help patients heal from bone or joint injuries so that they can return back to their everyday physical activities. Practicing medicine has given me a feeling of satisfaction that no other profession could. I grew up in a medically underserved community and understand the vital importance of having compassionate care in my community.
