He is board certified and serves as medical staff president at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee. He is also medical director at Alexian Village Retirement Community in Milwaukee and a community preceptor for physician assistants and nurse practitioner students.

Ryan Berg, MD, FACS, is a surgeon with Ascension Medical Group. Dr. Berg is board-certified in general surgery from the American Board of Surgery. He provides surgical care to patients aged 14 and older. Dr. Berg has a special interest in varicose vein surgery; colonoscopy for cancer screening; laparoscopic surgery; abdominal surgery including colon, gallbladder, and hernia repairs; breast surgery; thyroid/parathyroid surgery; and vascular/dialysis access surgery. His goal is to help patients understand their conditions, discuss all treatment options available, and provide exceptional and personalized care to achieve the best possible results. Outside of the office, Dr. Berg enjoys being an avid sports fan, and can often be found in attendance at Badgers, Brewers, and Packers games; and he also enjoys traveling - both to follow his favorite teams as well as to take in new experiences around the world.
