Hintgen Elementary School

Located in La Crosse, Wis., Hintgen Elementary School offers a range of academic and extracurricular programs for students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes classes in various subjects, such as reading, writing, visual arts, math and science. The school provides a variety of programs, including music, art, keyboarding, physical education, and speech and language therapies. Hintgen Elementary School administers the English Language Learners (ELL) program, which includes language instruction for the students of Chinese, Bulgarian and Arabic origin. It operates a library and media center that provides a variety of books and reference materials, as well as online resources. Hintgen Elementary School is a part of the School District of La Crosse, which enrolls more than 7,000 students in its elementary, middle and high schools.
