Founded in 1976, the Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin, also known as GHC-SCW, is a nonprofit member-sponsored staff model health maintenance organization. It practices in the areas of optometry pharmacy, X-ray, physical therapy and preventive care. The organization s health promotion department offers a range of classes, health fairs and worksite wellness programs for employers and members. The Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin serves more than 53,000 individuals annually.
