Greater Green Bay
Rebuilding Together of Greater Green Bay, established in 1994, is dedicated to creating safe homes and communities by repairing and revitalizing residences for seniors, people with disabilities, and military veterans at no cost to the homeowners. As the oldest Rebuilding Together affiliate in Wisconsin, the organization mobilizes corporate sponsors, local trade unions, and churches to refurbish 10-15 homes annually, typically in the third week of May.
The program, originally known as Christmas in May, focuses on enhancing the comfort and safety of underserved homeowners, thereby rebuilding lives and strengthening community bonds. Through an all-volunteer effort, Rebuilding Together aims to foster a sense of security and belonging for all residents in the Greater Green Bay area.
