In 1980, the instrument was adapted with a solid-state sensor specific for reducing gases, and we introduced the QuinTron Model 12. From that time forward, QuinTron has been dedicated to this special field. We developed a line of instruments which includes devices with the capability to measure breath methane and apply a correction factor for carbon dioxide.
