What is Wellness Shack Wellness Shack, Inc is a consumer-run, non-profit organization serving as Eau Claire's Center for Adults in Mental Health Recovery. It is run by the very members who comprise it, offering the chance for recovery, solace, and peace of mind by supporting, encouraging, and working with others who share similar conditions. We offer peer support; we are not professional counselors. Our mission is to help adults, inclusive of all diversities, with mental illness in the Eau Claire area by providing a safe place for them to find peer support, socialization, and recreation. Through community outreach, education, and advocacy, adults living with mental illness will improve understanding of mental health awareness to promote individual recovery.

Founded in 1958, Glenhaven is a health care facility that provides therapeutic, preventative and restorative care services. It offers physical, occupational and speech therapies, as well as nursing services. The hospital also provides dining services for residents. Glenhaven is governed by a nine member board of directors. It is located in Glenwood City, Wis.

Founded in 1962, Saint Anne of Winona is a nursing home facility. Based in Winona, Minn., the center is a member of The Benedictine Health System, a Catholic health care organization. It offers a range of rehabilitation services, including occupational, physical and speech therapies. Saint Anne of Winona also renders palliative care, Alzheimer special needs services as well as clinically complex long-term care services through its skilled service facility, Saint Anne Extended Healthcare. In addition, the center operates Benedictine Adult Day Center and Callista Court, a provider of assisted living apartments.
