Glendale Police Department

The Glendale Police Department is a full-service, community-oriented law enforcement agency that works to preserve peace, deter crime, and maintain law and order. It operates a field services division that is comprised of bicycle, communication, detective and canine units. The department s patrol division enforces traffic laws and conducts field interrogations and arrests in cases related to traffic violations. The Glendale Police Department hosts neighborhood and block watch, business alert and Crime Stoppers programs. It supports Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), which is a classroom program that helps to prevent drug abuse and violence among children. The department offers information regarding personal safety identity theft, robbery and burglary. The Glendale Police Department also operates a citizens police academy that provides various opportunities for citizens to participate in the department s operations. It is accredited by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG).
