Dr. Barbara Harkness is a board certified family medicine physician. She believes in promoting a healthy lifestyle and strives to practice medicine the way she would treat her family, especially using evidence-based treatments and medication in the context of treating the whole person and not just the disease. Dr. Harkness worked for 11 years as an RN before medical school.
