Dr. Frank Rodgers is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology and business from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC and his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, SC. He completed his surgical internship and his orthopedic surgery residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. Dr. Rodgers then went on to complete his fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at the University of Chicago in Chicago, IL. Dr. Rodgers' practice is focused on robotic assisted total hip and total knee replacements and hip and knee revision joint replacements. He is a member of the American Orthopedic Association, American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. When not working, Dr. Rodgers enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and their black lab. He also loves all aspects of cycling, playing golf, and barbeque. He and his wife like to travel but now appreciate a home base with three young children. Between his medical school and residency training he, his wife, and their dog took a month-long road trip where they lived out of their car and camped across the US. "It is a privilege to be able to help my patients get back to what they love to do, whether that is elite level athletics or being able to play with their grandchildren. I am humbled by their gratitude. It is the reason I chose the subspecialty of joint replacement."
