The White Bear Lake Fire Department is a combination department that provides fire protection, rescue, and Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance services to the City of White Bear Lake, White Bear Township, Birchwood, Dellwood, and Gem Lake. They also offer fire inspection services for commercial and multi-family buildings, as well as building plan review and preplanning for businesses in their response area.

Comprised of full-time and part-time paid on-call members, the department is committed to serving and protecting life and property within their communities.
