Family Assistance Administration

Family Service, founded in 1910 and located in Madison, Wis., is a nonprofit human service agency. It specializes in providing counseling services to individuals, families, and groups. The agency s staff includes experienced mental health and social service experts, and is certified by the National Council on Accreditation as a child and family counseling and mental health agency. Family Service is affiliated with the Alliance for Families and Children, and provides a wide range of human services to families in need. It focuses on issues, such as children at-risk for school failure, personal and family finance, substance abuse, and children and adolescents at-risk for out-of-home placements and family violence.
