Emerson Elementary School

Emerson Elementary School offers a verity of educational services and enrolls more than 250 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes reading, language arts, mathematics, reading, science and social studies. The school offers on-site, after-school care programs for students enrolling at Emerson through the transition education program. It also provides instruction in arts, computers, music and physical education. The school organizes a variety of events and extracurricular activities, such as the parent-teacher organization nights, book fairs, talent shows, concerts and plays. Located in Madison, Wis., Emerson Elementary School is a part of the Madison Metropolitan School District, which serves more than 25,000 students in over 45 schools. The school district also offers early childhood and alternative programs for students in grades six through 12.
