The jail is operated by the jail administrator and the assistant jail administrator, a variety of full-time and part-time correctional officers and nearly 10 correctional sergeants. The Washington County Jail also utilizes approximately five full-time programs coordinators, and nearly 10 full-time and part-time nurses, as well as more than 20 unpaid volunteers in various positions.
