Dickman Guitar Lessons

History

I began teaching guitar while being a student of the guitar, working on my bachelor's degree in guitar performance 15 years ago. Since then I've not only developed my teaching abilities, but have developed a deep love for teaching guitar and watching students grow in their playing. I've taught hundreds of students of all ages, levels and styles of guitar. In 2011, I earned my masters degree in guitar performance. Throughout my studies I have had the priviledge of learning from terrific teachers, who not only taught me how to play, but also how to teach guitar. My degrees are in classical guitar, but I play and teach jazz, rock and roll, folk, country, pop, blues and fingerstyle extentively also. I have extensive experience teaching young students age 5 and up and worked as the director of the Fine Arts Factory for youth in Billings, MT. I also teach many college students, working professionals and retirees.
