Contrary to what is posted on the DCHS website, they do put animals down. We surrendered a very nice, although very timid cat, only to learn that in less than two weeks time, they put him down....
Best way to solve the over crowding is to take one home. The pups are quite cute but be sure you can support the little ones.
Unfortunately we didn't adopt today. The place was clean and the workers friendly. Restroom clean. Sufficient parking in a nice location.
