History

DRM was creates by Katie Rhyme and Karen Zakrzewski. The two graduated from UW-Milwaukee with their BFA's in Dance in the December of 2009. Wanting to stay in the Milwaukee area, the two founders felt that there needed to be more performance opportunities and quality education in regards to dance. It was this feeling that led to the creation of Dance Revolution Milwaukee and continues to inspire Katie and Karen's work.

Dance Revolution Milwaukee (DRM) is a performance company and dance educational outreach initiative. We specialize in dance performance, choreography, and education. Our overarching goal is to create artistic and accessible dance within the Milwaukee community and to encourage collaboration between MKE artists by providing valuable performance opportunities. Additionally, DRM provides a variety of dance services to members of the Milwaukee community, including: wedding dance choreography, children's dance birthday parties, corporate events, and dance classes.
