CoVantage Credit Union

The CoVantage Credit Union is a nonprofit financial cooperative that is owned and operated by its members and managed by a volunteer board of directors. Founded in 1953, CoVantage Credit Union is presently one of the most secure financial institutions in Wisconsin. As of 2005, its assets totaled over $495 million and membership stood at 45,728 individuals. Members are assured that their funds are insured by the National Credit Union Administration up to $100,000. State examiners and auditors examine the Credit Union s financial status annually for compliance with existing laws that govern Community-Chartered Credit Unions. CoVantage is also required to comply with Federal rules and regulations, and is examined regularly by Federal auditors. The CoAdvantage Credit Union has Wisconsin offices in Antiago, Crandon, Shawano, Wausau, Weston, and Minnesota offices in Crystal Falls and Iron River.
