Based in Janesville, Wis., Blackhawk Technical College offers a wide variety of courses and programs. Its programs include associate degrees, diplomas, certificate, shared and apprenticeship programs, and general education courses. The academic programs include a wide variety of courses, such as business management, criminal justice, culinary arts, radiography, dental assistant, care worker, phlebotomy, carpentry and electrician studies. The technical college has a campus of 200,000 square feet, and providing various facilities, including instructional classrooms, shops and laboratories. It provides classrooms and laboratories for accounting, marketing, word processing, administrative assistant, legal secretary, fire science, criminal justice, child care services, welding and machine tool. Its technical center has laboratories for electronics, electromechanical and mechanical design, and a health occupations complex providing nursing, dental and radiograph services. Based in Monroe, Wis., Black Hawk Technical College offers a selection of full associate degrees, one year diploma courses and short term certificates as well as all general education core courses. The college features four computer laboratories, a distance learning laboratory, general classrooms as well as nursing, nursing assistant, phlebotomy and science laboratories.
