Capital Critter Sitters

History

Angie Hickerson started Capital Critter Sitters in Washington, D.C. in 1996, building it into a Capitol Hill institution, serving hundreds of clients over its history. In June 2013, Angie and her partner Mary Hillebrand expanded the business to Madison, Wis., passing the baton to Jen Jacobs and Kristine Davis, former clients and dedicated pet lovers, to carry on the tradition in D.C. All four of us fully understand the importance of communicating and working with clients to make sure their needs are met and their concerns are heard. We are active participants in our neighborhoods, and we genuinely care about the people as well as the pets we are working with.

Specialties

We offer a full range of pet sitting services, as well as daytime dog walking and overnight care for your furry friends. Dogs, cats, chickens, fish, birds, hermit crabs, hamsters -- you name it -- we have experience caring for it. We also provide home security checks and basic lawn and garden care while homeowners are away.
