Capital Brewery & Bier Garten

Capital Brewery (est. 1984) has won over 240 medals and specializes in traditional German style lagers, with a few ales for balance. It distributes all over Wisconsin and parts of IL, and IA. It is conveniently located in downtown Middleton, WI. During the summer season, the Bier Garten (a.k.a. ‘Middleton’s Backyard’) offers live music and food vendors several days of the week. With a performance stage, waterproof tent, bar and picnic tables, it can accommodate up to 1,200 people. An adjacent Beer Patio can accommodate 50 to 70 people, and plenty of on and off street parking is available. The Bier Stube and Grain Room is open to the public in the fall and winter season and includes a century old Brunswick back bar. Take a self-guided Tasting Tour and sample a flight of 6 beers anytime we are open. Cheese & snacks are available. May - September Ride the free Middleton Trolley to stop #1.
