Our aimless weekend wandering brought us to Monroe, WI where we discovered a gem in Buggyworks. Just off the charming city Square, Buggyworks makes great use of the historic Fitzgibbons building....

The Buggyworks is a comfortable place with terrific food utilizing a scratch kitchen and as many local products as possible. All soups and dressings are made from scratch as well as hand cut french fries and steaks as well as hand pattied burgers. Every service there is at least one unique item on special, with a top notch Friday Fish Fry and mouth watering Prime Rib on Saturday. Make sure to take advantage of the full bar while you enjoy some delicious food with friendly, fast and knowledgeable service!

Started with a pretzel and so delicious!! Then for the entrees we had burgers and steak. All were great! The service was very good as well. Very attentive. Didn't have to ask for a drink refill....

Everyone else loved their meals ... brisket and steaks. I couldn't eat beef with a blood test coming up, and since the salmon was farmed, not wild, I went with the chicken sandwich without the bun...
