Brenton Meier, MD

I first developed an interest in pain management while working as a nurse in the outpatient surgery unit. Helping people cope with their post-procedure pain was something I became very passionate about and it became clear that this specialty was the perfect fit for me. No matter the situation, the end goal is to improve function and lessen pain. I take an honest, compassionate approach and partner with each patient to identify the treatment plan that will lead to a better quality of life.

I believe in compassionate and patient-centered care. My goal is to integrate evidence-based medicine and innovation to meet the needs of each individual patient. Through my ongoing training, I am able to offer the latest and safest treatment options. I have a passion for all aspects of pain management, including back and neck pain caused by arthritis, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis and pain following surgery. I have a special interest in neuropathic pain, chronic pelvic pain, cancer-related pain and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). I want to serve my community and effectively provide compassionate and thorough care to my patients. Seeing them get back to an active lifestyle and participate in activities that were once painful is very rewarding.

My own orthopedic injury is what ignited my passion for orthopedics and drew me to this specialty. I received such high-quality care from my surgeon and nurses and wanted to offer the same to others. It’s rewarding to see patients make progress and get back to the everyday activities they enjoy doing the most. Patients often say that I’m easy to talk to and have a way of putting them at ease. You will always find me with a smile on my face and a willingness to listen. I will take the time to get to know you and understand your needs.
