The property of Boulder Lodge has history dating back to the late 1800’s. It was named Boulder Lodge for the large boulder that greets you off of highway 77 as you arrive. With the buildings being used to house and serve lumberjacks they tell a story that is now over 100 years old! Boulder Lodge sits in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest on Ghost Lake, one of the areas Quiet Lakes. The lake has always been known for its great Muskie fishing.
