Washington County Court House
The Washington County Jail is a 200-bed facility that opened in 1993. The jail is operated by the jail administrator and the assistant jail administrator, a variety of full-time and part-time correctional officers and nearly 10 correctional sergeants. The Washington County Jail also utilizes approximately five full-time programs coordinators, and nearly 10 full-time and part-time nurses, as well as more than 20 unpaid volunteers in various positions. The jail s medical unit has a dentist's office, an x-ray facility and several examination rooms. The Washington County Jail offers general equivalency diploma and other educational opportunities, chemical abuse counseling, library services, religious guidance and recreational activities. Washington County Jail maintains its headquarters in Stillwater, Minn.
