Wildwood Summer Theatre
Wildwood Summer Theatre is the DC area's oldest youth-run theatre company, established in 1965 by students from Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Maryland. Initially formed to extend their high school musical experience into the summer, the group successfully produced "Bye Bye Birdie" on a shoestring budget, sparking the birth of WST.
For over 50 years, WST has showcased at least one musical production annually, featuring a talented company aged 14 to 25. With a rich history of engaging performances and a dedicated team of young creatives, Wildwood Summer Theatre continues to captivate audiences with their vibrant productions.
