Whitesville Fire Department Inc
The Whitesville Volunteer Fire Department, established in 1936, is dedicated to protecting life, property, and community resources in Whitesville, West Virginia. With a commitment to emergency medical care, fire suppression, and rescue operations, the department serves the citizens of Boone and Raleigh Counties through prevention, preparation, response, and mitigation.
Currently led by Chief Matthew Lively, the department consists of 30 volunteer firefighters and 10 paid EMS professionals. The organization has a rich history, having been reorganized and incorporated in 1951, and continues to uphold its mission of community service for over 88 years.
