Founded in 1975, Valley Health (VH) is an integrated network of primary health care centers and public health programs that provides comprehensive medical services to southwestern West Virginia and southern Ohio. The center offers family practice, internal medicine, pediatric, adolescent care, gynecology, dentistry, laboratory, pharmacy, X-ray and ultrasound services. Valley Health also provides black lung specialty care services for coal miners in West Virginia. It has an agreement with Prestera Center for Mental Health Services to provide counseling services for its patients. In addition, Valley Health offers breast and cervical cancer screening programs, including routine pap smears and mammograms for women.
