Founded in 1982, Cabell County Public Library offers a range of informational, educational and recreational resources for the residents of its community . The library offers an outreach program that delivers large-print collection of books and other materials to homebound individuals. Its on-site locations include senior assisted living facilities, independent living apartments, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and hospitals. Cabell County Public Library offers bestsellers and audiobooks in various subjects, including western, mystery, romance and nonfiction. The library is a part of several organizations and institutions, including Rotary, Kiwanis, Quota Club, Goodwill, Tri-State International Club, Cabell-Wayne Association of the Blind and Delta Kappa Gamma.
