With a core of approximately 40 people, River Ridge Church officially opened its doors in September of 2002 at the West Virginia State Capitol Theater. Since then, God has blessed us and we have grown, bought land, built a building and continue to serve the community. God has called us to pursue a unique ministry approach: one church family in multiple locations. In the Fall of 2008, we began our second location in Teays Valley and are now holding services each week in Charleston and Teays Valley. Even though we meet in two different locations in the valley, the locations are part of the same church. We share the same values, statement of faith, leadership and vision. Although some of the activities and ministries function separately, we are one church with one purpose: to see people grow in their love for God and their love for people.
