Easter Seals is a nonprofit organization that has been serving children and adults with autism-related disorders and physical disabilities for more than 85 years. With a location in Wheeling, W.Va., the organization offers physical, occupational and speech therapies. It provides early intervention, medical rehabilitative and personalized care services. Easter Seals offers vocational training and employment services for individuals with disabilities. The organization provides assistance with daily activities, including bathing, grooming and personal hygiene. It organizes early child development programs and learning activities for children up to the age of 6. Easter Seals hosts recreational and day camps that include a variety of activities, such as boating, campfire skits, swimming, and arts and crafts.
