It all started over 40 years ago when Charlie Shaheen, the founder of Tornado Products, invented the awesome cleaning solution that became Tornado 50. Tornado Products was developed in St. Albans, a small community in West Virginia with an area of only 3.7 miles wide. The town was founded in 1816 and underwent several name changes until 1871, when a town council member suggested that it be named St. Albans, after his own home town of St. Albans, Vermont.
