Polack E. Phillips, MD

Christopher Mascarenhas, M.D., is a specialist in colon and rectal surgery, board certified by the American Board of Surgery and board eligible for the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Mascarenhas received his medical degree in general surgery from St. Johns Medical College in Bangalore, India. He served his surgery internship at the University of Missouri School Of Medicine, and his surgery residency at Michigan State University-Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners. Recently, Dr. Mascarenhas completed his Fellowship for colon rectal surgery at the Ferguson Clinic in Grand Rapids. His special interests include: diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy; single-incision surgery and laparoscopic surgery for colon and rectal cancer; fecal incontinence and rectal prolapse surgery; treatment of anorectal disease and inflammatory bowel disease.

Judy Jones Petersen, D.O., Wound Care specialist, is on the staff at Wheeling Hospitals Center for Wound Care. Dr. Petersen is a board-certified family physician and board-certified geriatrician with a special interest in wound care. Previously she worked as a wound care specialist at the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Physicians Group and was an associate professor of family medicine with the WVU Physicians of Charleston. She received her medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine; and performed her family practice residency and geriatrics fellowship at CAMC. Petersen has participated in continuing medical education by attending the Symposium for Advance Wound Care, the largest international advanced wound care conference. In addition, she has attended the Global Conference for Diabetic Foot Care.
