Martinsburg High School

Springfield Middle School is a learning center that is a part of Washington County Public Schools. Operational for more than 30 years, the school serves over 700 students in grade six through eight. It features a cafeteria, media center, playground and science lab. The schools general academic curriculum includes reading, science, math and social studies. Springfield Middle School also provides special education program for students with disabilities. It has band, orchestra and chorus clubs that organizes various musical events. E. Russell Hicks Middle School has been operational for more than 35 years and is located in Hagerstown, Md. The school has an annual enrollment of more than 750 students in grades six through eight. It has a parent-teacher association that provides financial assistance and services to the school to help enhance student life. The school provides academic education in various subjects, such as computer technology, physical education, language arts, math, science, social studies and English. E. Russell Hicks Middle School is a part of Washington County Public Schools, which also governs other elementary, middle and high schools. Middletown High School offers education to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes subjects that include business, English, mathematics, technology education, agriculture, and family and consumer sciences. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include music, drawing, painting, drama, seminars and workshops. The school provides a variety of facilities that include a library, media center and computer lab. It offers a wide range of services that include academic guidance. The sports activities provided by the school include football, soccer, cross country, cheerleading, softball, tennis and golf.
