Seneca Health Services provides community-based behavioral health services to adults, adolescents and children with mental illness, developmental disabilities and addictions. It serves the communities of Nicholas, Pocahontas, Greenbrier, Webster and Clay counties in West Virginia. Seneca Health Services employs a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, professional counselors, social workers, nurses, and physical, occupational and speech therapists. Its services include outpatient, case management, residential, day habilitation and treatment, crisis intervention and family support. Seneca Health Services also provides specialty services, such as substance abuse rehabilitation and driving under the influence education and counseling. It serves more than 3,000 consumers annually and is located in Summersville, W.Va.

Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center, also known as SHCMHC, offers a range of mental health care, substance abuse prevention and community support services for people who suffer from mental illnesses. The center serves Mercer, McDowell and Wyoming counties in West Virginia. It provides therapy, psychiatric and psychological care services for developmentally delayed individuals. Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center offers 24-hour residential support, noncrisis respite care and supervision services. The center also conducts psychiatric and medication evaluations, as well as offers 24-hour nursing assistance, family intervention and follow-up services. It provides individual and group counseling on various topics, such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain and grief. Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center maintains a location in Princeton, W.Va.
