Falling Springs Vineyard
Falling Springs Vineyard, located in the picturesque Greenbrier River Valley of Greenbrier County, West Virginia, specializes in handcrafted wines made from four grape hybrids well-suited to the local climate: Frontenac Red, Frontenac Gris, Maréchal Foch, and Leon Millet. Since planting their vines in 2006 and producing their first wine in 2011, they have officially operated as a West Virginia Farm Winery since 2013.
The vineyard offers aromatic, medium-bodied wines that are pleasantly dry with a hint of fruitiness, all produced in small batches on-site. While they currently do not ship wine out of state, visitors can purchase their limited inventory of wines and clothing directly at the vineyard.
