The Elkins Depot Welcome Center is located in the heart of downtown Elkins in the 1908 Western Maryland Train Depot. A friendly staff of volunteers are available to answer questions about the area and there is a wide variety of brochures that describe local attractions. The Welcome Center's schedule is as follows: January-March, Wednesday-Sunday 10am-4pm; April-October 7 days a week 9am-5pm; November-December, Wednesday-Sunday 10am-4pm.
