Founded in 1975, Downard Hydraulics designs, engineers, manufactures, rebuilds and markets a full line of hydraulic cylinders, severe-duty cylinders, fluid couplings, custom equipment and cylinder mounts. The company also designs and manufactures a variety of ancillary equipment and complete systems. The company can manufacture, rebuild and modify hydraulic cylinders from single units to production runs with bores from one-eighth-inch to 32-inches and strokes from one-sixteenth-inch to 20-feet. In addition, the company can design cylinders for virtually any severe duty application, including extreme heat or cold environments, heavy eccentric loading situations, and high- speed and high-pressure environments. The company is capable of manufacturing single units, prototypes, short runs and production runs. Downard Hydraulics maintains its headquarters and production facilities in Princeton, W.V.
