Alderson's Store

A Historic Retail Store owned and operated by the Alderson family since 1887. It was started as a general store and has evolved over the years to become a modern general store with a wide variety of unique merchandise. It's also housed in a pristine example of Art Deco architecture designed by the same architect who built the West Virginia Capitol building and recognized by Art Deco Societies across the country. The fourth generation owners are celebrating 135 years in business in 2022. Alderson's has also been voted as the Best Antique/Vintage Store in West Virginia for the second year in a row. It's an absolute must see experience in West Virginia!
