History

We started YDD because we saw what goes on behind closed doors. We witness a heavy hand from groomers, stuffed in cages all day, & we wanted to be in the heart of Snohomish Historic District, among various other reasons. Lisa-owner (off & on 20 years experience grooming) & Yvonne (25 years) have been colleges & friends for nearly 20 years and wanted to start something fresh & innovative for the historic part of town. The central location provides a great place to drop off your pet(s) while you shop or eat at one of the various eateries on 1st Street, & we've really tried our best to accommodate our clients. We have pick up available for people who work or simply do not have transportation. We don't charge a fee if a client lives in town. Specialties

We are a full service all breed dog & cat grooming facility. We specialize in reconditioning difficult pets whom have had a previously bad experience at a groom parlor & eventually dogs will whine to come here with our positive reinforcement . We only use E-Collars (lamp shade looking devise) & no muzzles. You Dirty Dog is a cage FREE facility (current vet records a must). We have several containment areas that your dog can socialize or if not so sociable then private quarters. Our smallest containment area is 8X8. We also provide daycare Monday-Friday and most Saturdays. You Dirty Dog has very reasonable rates! In fact there are many ways to find coupons or gain rewards with us such as, $5.00 off if you refer a friend or family member, we are in both Seattle & Snohomish County Entertainment Book 2012, new clients, reviews, additional pet(s) (5.00 off per additional pet), and more...
