The Wetherill Nature Preserve is a cherished natural sanctuary spanning sixteen acres between Yarrow Point and Hunts Point, dedicated to preserving the unique flora and fauna of the Northwest. Established in 1989 through a bequest from Marjorie Baird and Sidonia Foley, the Preserve honors their family legacy by protecting the land from development and providing a habitat for diverse wildlife.
