I haven't been to Westport in about three years and in the past when we go out it was to run the dogs on the beach which they enjoyed so much... until they didn't and preferred to stay home more....

Very informative museum about the Coast Guard and the local maritime history. The well-informed staff answered our every question and then some. So much information! We'll have to come again....

I got to walk the grounds....but no entrance. Both at the Maritime museum and the lighthouse run by the same organization. Now mind you we checked the website before driving from Oregon....

Wow! What a wonderful experience. This museum is a gem in Westport. Kudos to the lighthouse fresnel lens docent. He was amazingly knowledgeable and a great presenter.
