History
Started in Spokane Washington around 1900 as Empire Printing, then it was moved to Seattle and Western Typographers, Inc. was spun off. Had one of the finest collections of metal type in the city and state. 1973 Flo and Warren Funnell bought the Stock from Frank Smith. Computers and photographic typesetting was just in infancy, and we were in the top five type shops in Seattle. Then, in 1989, along came Mac. We converted to a small commercial quick print operation, and are still at it today.
