Shannon continued to help immigrants while attending Marquette University Law School, where she worked for Hochstatter, McCarthy and Rivas, an immigration law firm located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In her position, Shannon helped individuals with a wide variety of immigration issues related to family-based and employment-based visas. Shannon decided to start her own law firm to pursue her desire to continue to help immigrants.
