Wenatchee Public Works Department

The City of Wenatchee Public Works Department provides public utility services in Wenatchee, Wash. It designs and constructs streets and provides maintenance operations, such as repairing, painting, striping, cleaning and snow plowing. The department also maintains the city alleys. It also designs and constructs infrastructure systems, such as domestic water, sanitary sewer, drainage and storm sewer systems. The department also provides repair and maintenance of traffic signals and streetlights. Additionally, the department provides permits for constructing sidewalks, curb cuts, driveways and storm sewer connections. The Public Works Department provides automotive and electronic maintenance of various equipments, which include mowers, motorcycles, backhoes, cars, light trucks, vans, flatbeds and dump trucks.
