Wenatchee Police Department

The Wenatchee Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that employs a staff of more than 50 full- and part-time officers, civilians and community volunteers. It supports the Crime Stoppers program, which is affiliated with the National Crime Stoppers Organization and provides opportunities for citizens to report illegal activities to volunteers of the program. The Wenatchee Police Department maintains a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, which specializes in bomb disposal and hostage and barricaded gunman situations. The department also has gang, bike patrol, traffic, crime prevention and school resource units, as well as a drug task force. Located in Wenatchee, Wash., the Wenatchee Police Department provides concealed pistol license and public fingerprinting services.
