Walla Walla Community College

Founded in 1967, Walla Walla Community College offers a variety of educational programs and extracurricular activities to more than 13,000 students every year. Its academic curriculum includes programs in accounting technology, adult basic education, agribusiness , anthropology, art, astronomy, biological sciences, business administration, civil engineering, leadership studies, cosmetology, criminal justice and culinary arts. Walla Walla Community College also provides programs in music, nursing, nutrition, occupational support, office technology, political science, sociology and theatre arts. It is certified by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges to offer courses in transitional studies, extended learning, and professional and technical education. The college also participates in a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, golf, rodeo, soccer, softball and volleyball. Walla Walla Community College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. It maintains a location in Clarkston, Wash.
