If I could give Leslie 10 stars, I would. Our standard labradoodle Teddy joined her pack three weeks ago. He's gone for about three hours every week day and comes back super tired. Before he...

History
For as long as I can remember I have been interested in and passionate about dogs. I grew up on a farm in rural Oklahoma, and my dog care philosophy is a direct reflection of that lifestyle. I believe that each dog needs to have a job to do each day, and needs to feel that they are part of a pack. I began walking dogs as a passion/hobby in 2012, and over the years I have been given countless lessons in friendship and loyalty from the dogs I have encountered. In early 2015 I made the decision to leave my 'big girl' job in order to pursue a full-time career in dog care. My mission is to help you achieve my motto of 'Happy Dog + Happy Life' by providing a healthy routine of work, socialization and loving care for your dog.
Specialties
Walk City is a dog walking and training business. We focus on one particular goal, which is to provide a structured, strenuous 1.5 hour long pack walk for your dog! This is not your typical leashed walk! Your dog will spend this hour and a half walking, hiking and exploring each day. She will have the chance to socialize with other dogs and will learn how to function as part of a pack. This walking format provides not only the physical exercise your dog needs, but also gives her structure. In the dog world, exercise + structure equals WORK, which is the key to a balanced, happy dog. During the walk I work on things like desensitizing your dog to distractions (cats, squirrels, other dogs, other humans, etc...), conditioning your dog to maintain a calm and balanced state of mind, despite the excitement around her and correcting undesirable behaviors (leash biting, pulling, lunging etc..). This is suitable for dogs of all sizes and energy levels!

Leslie did an awesome job taking care of my shy Bella. She sent me pictures and let me know how their visit had gone. I will definitely call Leslie again to watch Bella when I can't be home.
Our family is so grateful for the care and guidance Leslie has given to us - through our 90 pound GSP puppy - over the past two years. She has provided loving consistency, as well as physical and...
